Invictus

The way you see yourself is essential. You might consider yourself as a successful or a mediocre person, as a winner or as a loser. And thus will you actually be, and continue to be all your life, unless you change your perspective. Other people won’t be able to influence your beliefs, in spite of appearences. YOU are the only one who can determine WHO you are, how you look, even how you feel. Although you are in charge, you are convinced that the outside world is the cause of your feelings. Remember the famous quote from W.E. Henley’s poem “Invictus” (= never defeated)?

                                                          I am the master of my fate

                                                          I am the captain of my soul
