An old saying advises you to try, try, and try again. Even if you fail, you should not give up. Why? Because in the end, if you are determined enough, you will achieve your goal. Does this advice always work? Saying that it does - always - would be a bit unrealistic because it is not a strict rule. But what is sure is that, if you are not persistent, you will seldom carry out any serious enterprise. Persistence is not stubbornness, though. Taken all the odds into careful consideration, it is up to your intelligence to decide how, how far or how long to persist in your endeavor.
