Part 1. This morning an episode of the old iconic TV show "The Twilight Zone" was broadcast (s5 e26). The story is about a village where - because of its inhabitants' widespread hate and hypocrisy - one day the sun doesn't rise. It is darkness everywhere. Later, darkness starts to spread all over the world.
Part 2. Right after watching this episode, I read these words from Wikipedia executive director to its readers:
"We find ourselves in remarkable circumstances this year. The COVID-19 pandemic makes it clear our global human interconnectedness and the responsibilities we have to one another. We have no precedent for its challenges, but we do know that our best response relies on the sort of global empathy, cooperation and community building that sit at the heart of our movement."
Just sharing.
